Downtown St. Petersburg Office
Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, PhD, RMFTI
If you choose to embark on this therapeutic journey with me, you can expect an approach that is collaborative, non-blaming, and focused on empowering you to create a path in life that more authentically aligns with your goals and values. I will tailor therapy to fit who you are, what matters to you, and how you hope to grow.
While my specialization lies in marriage and relationship counseling, I firmly believe that therapy is a valuable resource for anyone seeking personal growth and enhanced well-being. Regardless of your circumstances, I am here to support you in your unique exploration of change.
Those who have experienced my therapeutic approach often describe it as intentional, warm, and down-to-earth. In our sessions together, I will strive to help you separate yourself from your problems, discover your voice, and explore various perspectives and possibilities in your life. I often do this by integrating holistic practices such as therapeutic writing, meditation, art activities, and movement alongside pop culture references like music, books, tv shows, and movies.
I want to emphasize that therapy is a reminder that we are deserving of support and healing. It teaches us that it’s never too late to rewrite our stories and create a future filled with hope and possibility. It is not a sign of weakness but rather a courageous step towards self-care and self-improvement. It is an investment in your mental and emotional well-being. Together, we can work towards creating meaningful change in your life and relationships. I am genuinely grateful that you are considering me for this next chapter in your mental health journey.

My passion for becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist started at a young age and stems from a very personal place. When I was six years old, my parents divorced unexpectedly; however, while this was by no means an easy change, I watched them navigate this challenging situation with immense love, compassion, communication, and strength. I was inspired by the steps they took to help their relationship and support me and my younger brother, which led me to recognize the importance of therapy and of intentionally investing in the process of change.
I continued to explore the dynamics of relationships throughout my education. I received my Bachelor’s from Florida State University with a double major in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences, my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy along with a certificate in Systemic Multicultural Counseling from Appalachian State University, and, most recently, my Doctor of Philosophy from Florida State University. While completing my education and working on my license, I have worked in both agency and private practice settings and have over five years of clinical experience working with a variety of populations in different settings. Through my range of professional, academic, and life experiences, I have developed a deep commitment to helping people navigate romantic relationship issues, foster personal growth through self-compassion, address parenting concerns, overcome depression and anxiety, manage familial conflict, navigate friendship dynamics, and adapt to various life transitions.
I believe in my clients until they can believe in themselves, and I am ready to help you create a new narrative of your life!
- I am originally from the Bronx, NY (go Yankees and Rangers!), but I grew up in sunny South Florida. Recently, I made the exciting move to St. Pete, and I’m thrilled to be closer to the beach now!
- My husband and I have been together for over ten years, accompanied by our wonderful pup named Thor. Thor is a cuddly and playful companion who enjoys going on walks and discovering dog-friendly places in our local area.
- At least once a year, I like to travel somewhere I’ve never been. The idea of trying different foods, experiencing diverse cultures, exploring uncharted paths, and witnessing awe-inspiring sights truly feeds my sole. Whenever the opportunity arises, I seize every chance to embark on a journey!
- If there’s a coffee shop nearby, rest assured that I have visited and surrendered myself to its cozy ambiance for hours on end, accompanied solely by a captivating book.
- As a certified Yoga Instructor with a 200-hour training, I derive immense joy from both teaching and participating in a diverse range of yoga classes.
- Where words fail, music speaks, especially if it’s live music!
