Nice to meet you!
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I understand how vulnerable it can feel to come to therapy in a society that often emphasizes self-reliance. Reaching out for support can feel like admitting that something is wrong, but I believe therapy is not about fixing what is broken. It is about having a space where you can be fully seen, understood, and accepted while you begin to make sense of what you have been carrying.
My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore what is underneath the surface, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. I bring warmth, authenticity, and directness to my work while meeting each client where they are.
I work in Downtown St. Pete and, Virtual
Hourly rate is: $185 for Individuals and $235 for Couples
My specialties are:
I work with individuals, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, complex trauma, relationship challenges, identity concerns, neurodivergence, ADHD, Level 1 autism, giftedness, addiction, burnout, codependency, and life transitions.
Let's get to know each other!
My approach is compassionate, authentic, relatable, and direct. Together, we work to understand not only what you are experiencing, but also why certain patterns may have developed and what it will take to move forward. I have a particular passion for working with clients who have felt chronically voiceless, misunderstood, or like they have had to work harder than others to feel seen and accepted.
For couples, I have additional training in Level 1 Gottman Method Therapy and Imago Dialogue Therapy. For deeply rooted patterns that have been difficult to change, I am trained in Schema Therapy, an integrative, long-term, evidence-based treatment. I have also completed training in working with neurodivergent populations, complex trauma, and the Enneagram.
Complex trauma is an area I especially enjoy working with. I am also particularly interested in working with couples, where I take a systematic approach focused on reducing burnout, improving communication, and developing greater co-regulation and understanding between partners.
Cultural competence is important to me, and I value working with clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and lifestyles. I strive to create a space where clients can bring their whole selves to therapy and feel respected and valued for who they are.
I work hard to maintain a high standard of care through ongoing education, training, and consultation. I believe therapy should be individualized, and I take an eclectic approach focused on finding the strategies and techniques that genuinely fit you. My work draws from humanistic, Gestalt, narrative, and relational psychodynamic concepts.
I am trained in Level 2 Brainspotting, a somatic, body-based approach that can support the processing of trauma and neurophysiological sources of distress. I also utilize Brainspotting for performance-related mental blocks, including sports performance work with teenagers.
A bit more about me...
I know what it can feel like to experience the world differently and to sometimes feel misunderstood because of it. My curiosity about the human experience and my passion for recognizing and empowering the underdog are at the heart of why I became a therapist.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by the belief that our beginnings do not have to define our future. I returned to college in my early 20s and discovered a passion for social work after a professor recognized strengths in me that I had not yet recognized in myself. That experience ultimately led me to earn both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of South Florida.
That journey continues to influence how I see my clients. I believe people are far more complex than their circumstances, diagnoses, mistakes, or the labels they may have been given. I love helping people discover their strengths, understand their stories, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been lost along the way.
My Fun Facts:
I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, and have so much love and gratitude for our city and the community here.
I am a first-generation college graduate.
Outside of being a therapist and wife, I am a big pet lover and an avid thrifter and vintage hunter.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the sexual wellness space for eight years. That experience gave me a unique perspective on relationships, intimacy, communication, and the many ways people navigate connection. It was also where I first discovered my love of working with couples.
