Meet Our Office Staff.

Lynne Goodwin

Client Care Coordinator and Administrative Assistant

Born and raised on the coast of North Carolina, I’ve called St. Pete home for the past 23 years. I’m a proud mom to two young adults—a daughter who recently graduated from college and a son who is a freshman in college. Passionate about helping others, I love that my job allows me to connect with people and help them find the best therapist for their needs. Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, traveling, and learning about new cultures. Cooking, especially seafood, is another passion of mine.

I love the water and met my significant other while paddleboarding. Together, we explore the diverse waters of Florida, especially the beautiful springs. I also enjoy live music, going on adventures, spending time with family and friends, and snow skiing. At home, I have two cats, Marley and Simba, who are brothers. I fostered them when they were five weeks old and adopted them; they are now 10 years old.

Susan Arthur

Client Care Coordinator and Administrative Assistant

I am a Georgia native but have now lived in Florida much longer than I lived in Georgia. I hold a BA in Human Development from Eckerd College, and an MA in English literature from Ohio Dominican University. I have worn many hats during my working career, including as a reporter for various newspapers, public relations at a theme park, youth services at a public library, and education coordinator at an arts center. I have an adult daughter, Emily, who resides in Sarasota, and I live in St. Petersburg with seven cats and a persnickety hen named Clucky. I am addicted to Food Network cooking shows and just about any series on PBS Masterpiece Theater. I also love to read and take walks.

Due to an insatiable curiosity about the incredible journey that is life, I have found immense satisfaction in helping people in their wellness journey at McNulty Counseling.

Katie Lopez

Executive Director

I am a Pittsburgh native, and I attended college at the University of Pittsburgh. I then received my J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where I met my now-husband, Joe. I worked as a litigation attorney for seven years in New Jersey before moving to St. Pete in 2018 with my husband and two children, Teddy and Hazel. I spent the next few years focusing on my family as a stay-at-home mom.

The past few years have opened my eyes to mental health and neurodiversity. Through many visits to occupational therapists, counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists, my son was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. We are lucky to have a team of mental health professionals to provide support for my son and my entire family.

Our experience has highlighted the importance of mental health in children and adults. When I decided to return to work, I knew I wanted to switch gears. I am so happy to be with McNulty Counseling, helping other individuals and families get the help they need.

Some fun facts about me are that I love to crochet, have two dogs and one cat, and can bake almost perfect macarons.Â
