Let's get to know each other!

Throughout my life, I've always been someone who looked out for others.  This was guided by a strong sense of compassion that led me to my present position as a therapist.  I believe feeling cared for and supported can impact someone in the biggest way and I do this using a positive and calm perspective in both work and life.  My training is not the only support I bring into the therapeutic relationship, I also draw upon life experiences that have strengthened my wisdom and resilience allowing me to show up with presence and reliability for my clients.  I believe you are the expert on your own life, I'm here to collaborate while offering clinical insight and a safe, welcoming space while you are navigating this.      

A bit more about me…

I  have 5 adult children after 20 years with my late husband, whom I have thoroughly enjoyed watching grow.  I understand how chaos can feel and how hard we have to fight for peace and to maintain balance with or without children.  It is with great pleasure I provide guidance and insight by integrating various modalities and techniques to help you achieve this.  

My Fun Facts:

• You'll usually find me outdoors-riding bike or near the water whenever I can.
• I'm a big animal lover and share my home with my 11-year-old dog, Baily (Yo-Chon) and my cat, Boo Boo.  
• My favorite moments are spent with my family playing games and laughing together.  
• I find pleasure in caring for a garden, although I struggle keeping houseplants alive! 
• I come from a background of health minded individuals (holistic care and exercise) and have ran in 5k races and a member of a running group
• I have a honey addiction I don't plan to change!   It started with my German neighbor giving me fresh honey combs straight out of the hive.  I will often be seen with a cup of green tea and honey.  BTW, I know how to pet honey bees WITHOUT getting stung.
